Energy Contracting (EC) is a partnership between a facility owner and an energy service provider, in our case at Kelag International. The basis for energy contracting is the owner’s need to improve or renovate the existing energy system and make it more efficient by lowering energy consumption and costs.  

Energy contracting allows companies - the facility owners (industrial, commercial, public) - to make the needed energy efficiency improvements - without investing their own capital in the project. As Kelag International has a strong financial backbone, it can take on the financial burden and risks associated with the investment so that the facility’s owner’s cash flow is not affected by the investment cost.
