KI-KELAG International GmbH generates clean electricity from wind power on five wind farms in Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia.

In the wind power sector, KI-KELAG International GmbH has invested predominantly in Romania and Bulgaria where there are four wind farms with a total of 19 wind turbines in operation near the Black Sea coast. The most recent project is a wind farm near Zadar in Croatia which supplies around 6200 households.

Construction of the Bulgarian wind power project Balchik was completed successfully in October 2010 and it has been running successfully in full commercial operation since March 2011.

The Mihai Viteazu wind farm is located in the windy Dobrogea region of Romania and was completed at the end of 2011.

Construction of the Dudesti wind farm began in autumn 2012. The project was completed in early summer 2013 and is now in operation.

Construction of the Pogoanele wind farm began in spring 2013. After completion of the construction work in December 2013, it was commissioned in the 1st quarter of 2014.
